Trusting the Inner Self

Trust-reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.

Trust is a wonderful thing. In fact it's what most people base their relationships on whether it's trusting that one is getting what they pay for or that one can trust their own parents.

Trust is also a letting go of fear. FEAR = False Expectations Appearing Real; a letting go of the past and a letting go of worry about the future. There are many that have had that trust broken through no fault of their own. But they still have to learn to trust again. Stepping out in faith that it will be ok to trust another is a big deal.

Survivors of childhood abuse have to overcome low self esteem, unhealthy self image, and all the coping strategies that have kept them alive and, hopefully, moving forward. When they do make this leap of faith all the universe is behind that step helping it happen. As adults we must be able to trust the process of healing. We must be able to trust that our intention to heal will not lead us into more dis-ease or worse yet denial of the real problem. We must be able to let go of our fears that are based on "real" experiences but are not the same as what is happening now.

Trust your highest self to lead you into the most benevolent situation when you call upon it. Even if you have never been able to trust before when you call upon the part of you that IS trustworthy, it will not let you down.

No Way, No How.
